I have been coming here since Louis took it over in the early 1990's and have never had a bad meal there. 99% of the time I get the grilled chicken on a pita, no matter what time of the day it is. Yum!! The only downside is that it is time to do some updating, the place is looking shabby these days. Great prices and portions. Potato pancakes served with sour cream and applesauce. The eggs Benedict is very good . Also the soup.

Excellent food and awesome service! After a long journey, we immensely appreciated how quickly they brought our food out. The quantity was great too. Our kids enjoyed the food as well. Definitely on our list of favorites. :)

Price is very low. Friendly service. Almot every table filled. About 150 people. Served our food in about 20 minutes.

The waitresses are always super friendly it's a beautiful atmosphere and the food is fantastic with enough portions to eat the next day and the prices aren't bed either. Best omelets in town!

Louis's is a gem and the kind of place I aspire to uncover. I travel for work and am often reduced to suffering the chains with their standard fare and indifferent service. Louis's a classic family establishment around since '92 and they crank out some great chow. I went there 2 days in a row for breakfast, after discovering it on a search for Hand Cut Donuts, just down the street which is another place you ought to check out. Louis's breakfast are generous, excellently prepared and served in a friendly manner missing elsewhere. If I lived in Joliet, I'd be there all the time.
